It took over the business of providing of telecom services and network management from the erstwhile Central Government Departments of Telecom Services (DTS) and Telecom Operations (DTO), with effect from 1st October‘2000 on going concern basis. Plintron India provides 4G LTE*, 3G and 2G services, in its operational circles, through BSNL. BSNL is acclaimed for having the widest coverage of all operators all across its circles, including in rural and remote areas.
